Bosko was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in March of 1966. His parents were diplomats and, as such, his family traveled and lived in many different countries. Living in Addis Abba, Ethiopia allowed him, at a young age, to see not only that country, but the whole northern part of the African continent. It was there that he developed his love for fishing and photography. From Ethiopia, Bosko’s family moved back to Europe and then to Washington D.C., where his family spent the most time. It is also where he become a U.S. citizen. Bosko’s academic studies, which took place on two continents, consisted of Architecture, Art and Graphic Design. The last degree he earned was from Corcoran School of Art. His love of photography is what guided him to Strawbridge Studios. Bosko said, “When I look through the lens of the camera, I see the world in all of its beauty. We are all different; languages, cultures and religions, yet we are one and the same. As I create memories as a school photographer, I am truly blessed to be surrounded by children every day who are just that and nothing less.”
